Richards was born in Penarth, Wales. She was educated at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She was the host of the Welsh popular teen magazine Mosgito for S4C and appeared in short films prior to being cast in major roles on BBC TV programmes Crash and Being Human. [2] In 2012 she was named executive assistant on Breaking In on FOX with an exaggerated English accent. 3 In January 2012, she joined the cast as a regular on Breaking In. She co-starred with the role of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. She played Barbara Kean on the FOX Television show Gotham from 2014 until 2019. [7] She was the director of "The Trial of Jim Gordon" The fifth season's finale, which premiered 7 March 2019. [1][8The 8 FOX reports that she'll be playing with Max Brown (and John Hurt) in an unreleased independent film called That Good Night. She has also been seen in The Quiet Ones and Open Grave as well as in TVshows, Being Human in Britain. She is currently in New York City, Los Angeles, London.
