She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first job after school was that of a real estate agent. Tarek El-Moussa and her husband, also worked in this business. The couple was very successful prior to the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate investors and house flippers failed. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa nearly insolvent due to the crash in stocks of the year 2008. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $700/month apartment. The economy as well as their business slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to assist him with making an HGTV tape showing Christina and her flipping through a home from beginning to end. The tape ended up in the hands of executives at a production company called Pie Town Productions. They were enthralled by Christina and Tarek's love story. The couple signed a contract with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April 2013. For seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. Christina and Tarek purchased houses in Orange County that were usually homes with a middle-income. They then spent several weeks renovating the home to ensure they could flip the property for return. Tarek concentrates more on remodeling as well as demolition, while Christina is responsible for design. They also keep everything in order.
