After a thorough investigation, Rachel discovers Anna had an adopted daughter, named Samara and she had the power to burn disturbing images in the minds of individuals or animals, as well as objects. Rachel encounters Anna's widower Richard. Richard demands Rachel leave the scene as when she starts asking questions about Samara.
