Kate Hudson

Hudson was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Oscar Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, an actor comedian, actor, and musician.Her parents separated when she was just 18 months old and she and her older brother Oliver Hudson, an actor Oliver Hudson, were raised in Snowmass, Colorado, and Pacific Palisades, California by her mother and her long-time lover actor Kurt Russell.Hudson's roots are Italian (from her paternal grandmother), Hungarian Jewish (from her maternal grandmother),and the remainder a mix of English and some German.She was born Jewish; like her mother, she also practices Buddhism.Hudson has stated that her biological father "doesn't know her from a crack in the wall", and she considers Russell as her father.Hudson has said that her mother is "the person who I've learned the most from and whom I admire and who has led her life in a manner that I can look up to". There are four siblings: Zachary Hudson and Emily Hudson, her father's biological second marriage to actress Cindy Williams; Lalania Hudson and Wyatt Russell, her mother's relationship with Wyatt Russell, her mother's.
