LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984 is an American professional basketball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players and is frequently compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships, the four NBA MVP Awards as well as Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of 2 Olympic gold medals. James has the highest points during the playoffs, the second most career points and is seventh in career assists. James has been named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected to his place on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third most amount in NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James made the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to reach 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. National media touted James as a future NBA star. He was a pre-profession player and chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. He was voted the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. He soon became one of the premier players in the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award in as of 2009 and in 2010. After failing to win a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to be a part of the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions in sports history.
